Hello Friends and Family,

I have recently been invited to be a member of Team USA in the up coming Muay Thai World Championships being held this November thru December. This event is recognized by the Royal Thai Government and is being held in Honor of His Majesty the King of Thailand’s 80th Birthday. Each competitor has been tasked with raising his/her own donations & sponsors to cover travel, food, lodging, etc. So I am reaching out to all of you for any kind of support.

I will be leaving for Bangkok, Thailand on November 12th. The early arrival will give me two weeks to get acclimated with Thailand and my Thai coaches. I will be living and training at the team camp just outside of Bangkok until the World Cup starts. The training will consist of a morning run followed by two hours of training and then another two hours of training in the evening. I hope the extra two weeks will give me a better opportunity to win a Gold Medal for my family and country.

To show my appreciation, with every sponsor/donation made over $50, I will be giving one Team Owens t-shirt to commemorate this event. In addition I will also be providing a Tax ID number for the 2007 tax year. This is an incredible opportunity and will give me a great story to tell my grand children some day. So any support you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.
